Menlo Park, CA Hotspot: Cafe Barrone; to Host’s All Wecome Reception for Killen’s ‘Search for a Climate Solution Art’ Tuesady July 9, 5:30PM- 7:30PM

Roy Barrone said, “I’m again proud to display Michael’s art in my cafe. He’s helping us see why we and the rest of the world need to prepare for climate change.” Killen said, “I’d honored by Roy’s invitation.”

Diane Bailey, Exe. Dir. Menlo Spark said, “We are pleased to help sponsor this event. We’re inviting leaders of the communiy to this early evening event.

Killen will display six paintings- several of which have already been shown at Standord events. They include ‘Stormy Weather’ (6 X 15 FT), a print of (Stanford’s) painting – “Stanford Smart Energy Campus” (6 X 15FT).

Joe Stagner, Stanford Executive who developd the plan for the university’s smart grid is expected to be present, to answer questions about how the system reduces greenhouse gas emisions, energy and water costs.

MenloSpark is a nonprofit collaboration of local government, businesses, and residents helping Menlo Park become climate neutral by 2025 as we advance community prosperity, economic vitality, and strong civic heritage.
