Michael Killen, the California Artist, shares what motivated him to make the painting “Liberty Loves All of the Children of the World” (6×5 feet). The song “Jesus Loves the Little Children” and the actions of people and organizations that “sing” that song inspired him to make the painting. The painting is another step in Michael’s efforts to bring attention to important issues and developments.
While making “Liberty Loves … World,” Michael met a young man Chris Oakley head of Mighty Movers http://www.tulsamovingcompany.org who was moving an executive from Tulsa to San Francisco who impressed him. When Michael discovered Chris also had artists skills and he asked Chris to improve parts of the painting. (Chris 918-810-9787)

Prior to joining the Foundation, he was the executive director and CEO of the Sierra Club Foundation.
