China’s Eco-Cities Plans

 

James T. Caldwell, PhD, discussed China’s efforts to build 168 sustainable cities—Eco-Cities; with Michael Killen. The interview focuses on three cities—Tianjin, Suzhou and Nansha; in this country of 1.3 billion people, characteristics of an eco-city, and the government’s motivation to develop Green Specification Systems.
