Mind of the Artist; Michael Killen

Talk-show host Charlie Class asks artist Michael Killen what is it that enbales him to think about business, environmental, political, or social issues and then to create a painting of those issues.  In this interview he shares University Arts plan to auction Killen’s painting “It Gives and Gives and Gives: The San Francisco Bay” and to display that painting in their San Francisco, Palo Alto and San Jose stores, and donate the money’s received to Save the Bay. 

Class also asked Michael about Cafe Barrone (Menlo Park, Ca)  plan to host  a “meet the artist and see the work” reception the evening of April 17.

On the video Michael reports on NASA’s plan to display his painting “Sustainability” in their new building Sustainability Base.
